From the CNR School on Wheels Museum TripAdvisor:
"I was pleasantly surprised, and even moved, by my visit to this modest looking museum. I visited with my mother, who loved seeing many familiar objects from her childhood, and a fellow teacher with whom I marvelled at the incredible story of dedication and innovation these school car teachers demonstrated in the days when the railway was the only link to the north."
"A hidden gem!"
"A great hisory lesson and fun too!"
"I had clipped this activity out of the newspaper ad ages ago and with the Victoria Holiday upon us, I decided to take the kids on a road trip. We were the first visitors of the season and received the royal treatment! Our guide was so knowledgeable and, being a retired teacher, she was excellent at engaging my children and teaching them such interesting things. Everything was well displayed and totally authentic since much of the research was done first hand with the Sloman Family. A much enjoyed day out!"
