Welcome to the Municipality of Central Huron Treasury Department. Our department is responsible for monitoring and implementing sound financial policies that support the Municipality as a whole, and ensuring the financial integrity of the Municipality in fulfilling of all statutory and credible requirements. We continue to work to keep taxes at a reasonable level and to safeguard the Municipality’s financial assets. As a taxpayer you will find useful and important information about due dates, payment options and your Interim and final tax bill.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is responsible for placing a value on all properties in Ontario. You can check your property assessment (CVA) and get answers to frequently asked assessment questions. You can also obtain a Request for Reconsideration Form if you wish to have MPAC reconsider the assessed value of your property by clicking here.
