To provide the fastest possible response time
in cases of emergency, fire response services for the Municipality
of Central Huron are provided by the:

| Garbage Collection |
For some time now the Municipality has not been directly involved
in the collection of the garbage in Central Huron. It is collected
by privately owned collection services or residents may take their
refuse to our Landfill Site.

The Mid-Huron Landfill site is located just west of Clinton on Highway
8. Landfill Site Hours of Operation are as follows:

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. |
| Saturday |
8:00 a.m. to 12 noon |
| Closed on Sunday and Holidays. |

Please note:
The landfill site does not accept recycling, except cardboard and
there are normal tipping fees on this. They do not accept hazardous
materials such as paint, cleaning chemicals, oils, gasoline and
such. For hazardous materials disposal please contact the County
offices for schedules in your area.

Water and Sewer
In the rural areas, water and sewer services are largely installed
and maintained by the owners. Municipal water and sewer services
are provided in Clinton. There are several small residential areas
that are provided with municipal water throughout the Municipality.
