The role of Protective Services is to save lives, prevent harm and protect property.

The Municipality is committed to serve, protect and provide a desired quality of life for citizens and visitors to the Municipality of Central Huron through both education to raise awareness of community standards and enforcement of Municipal By-Laws to ensure timely compliance with a professional, unbiased approach.

We also provide services relating to the building industry. Our main priority is public safety. We are responsible to ensure construction takes place in accordance with the Ontario Building Code, that all minimum standards are met, and that the project conforms to zoning by-laws.

Please take a few moments to explore what our Protective Services Department can do for you. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us.
