Downtown Clinton Parking Study 2023

The Municipality of Central Huron initiated a study to enhance parking in the heart of our community. As part of this initiative, Central Huron conducted a comprehensive parking study with the Clinton Business Improvement Association (BIA) boundary area (map below), focusing on optimizing parking resources for residents and fostering the revitalization of our downtown core. Central Huron retained R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited to lead the study.

On February 1, 2024 a Public Open House was held and the final report was presented by the consultants to Central Huron Council at their Regular Council Meeting on March 4, 2024. At this Meeting, Council directed staff to bring back a recommendation report based on the final report. This will be presented to Council during a future regular meeting for their consideration.

If you have any questions regarding the parking study or recommendations please contact Anne-Marie Thomson, Planning Coordinator by calling 519-482-3997 ext. 1222 or via email
