All meetings of Council and Committees of Council are open to the public, unless closed subject to the applicable section within the Municipal Act, 2001. The Municipality of Central Huron has one Council meeting a month to discuss the business of the municipality. Administration is responsible for the Council Agenda, Council Meetings, and the registration of delegations as well as the Council Minutes.

Any member of the public can register a written request with the Clerk for delegation to a Council Meeting. Delegates are limited to not more than 5 minutes. The public is advised that any information submitted for an open meeting of Council and Committees becomes public record. The deadline for submission is noon the Wednesday prior to the Council Meeting.
